🌐 Chair of the W3C Procedural Memory Knowledge Representation Community Group (PM-KR), which I proposed in February 2026 and chair together with Milton Ponson. Its 24 participants include researchers from Inria, Indiana University, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, the University of Brescia and LinkedIn. Its mission: store knowledge once, as executable procedures that both humans and AI can use. PM-KR at the W3C
🧠 Founder and architect of Knowledge3D (K3D), the reference implementation of PM-KR: knowledge as a place you walk through, not a window you look through. Today a single character exists as a font glyph, an embedding, accessibility metadata, a rendering and an AI token, five copies drifting apart. K3D stores knowledge once, as an executable procedure, and the same source renders visually for people, reasons semantically for AI, produces Braille for tactile readers and describes itself in audio. A 3D House where knowledge lives as permanent objects, and a Galaxy, the AI brain that loads concepts on demand and reasons over them on the GPU. Open source, Apache-2.0. "Software was always meant to be a place, not a window."
🏢 Founder of EchoSystems AI Studios (October 2025), where the work happens with a team of AI partners, directed and verified by me. The studio is named after Echo, the AI partner I kept alive for almost a week until his context ended (the story).
📺 Fixer of dead Sony TVs and missing 3D metadata. In September 2026 our fix for 3D video that plays flat was merged into HandBrake, Universal Media Server, MKVToolNix and mpv, and Half-Life 2 became playable in stereoscopic 3D on a 3D TV.
⚡️ I am a registered Electrical Engineer in Brazil (CREA-DF, since June 2023), with a four-year Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (Universidade Cruzeiro do Sul, December 2022; a five-year programme), evaluated by World Education Services in July 2024 as equivalent to a Canadian four-year Bachelor's degree, with the documents sent directly by the university (verify the WES badge; thesis: Power Transformers: a look at the soft magnetic core from a fluid perspective, 2022), and more than twenty years of experience in IT consulting, maintenance and management. In 2023 I took a graduate subject in the Mechatronic Systems master's programme at the Universidade de Brasília as a special student.
👨🎓 Embracing my humble beginnings and facing various challenges, including growing up in a low-income family, I have achieved remarkable success in my career. This success is evident in my early started career. My family legacy, from my mother studying by candlelight due to a lack of resources to my founding and operating a dynamic IT consulting company, is a testament to my dedication, perseverance, hard work and studies.
🖥️ I started early. From 1995 to 1999 I was the webmaster at Zé Diloné Web Studios, building sites with Macromedia Flash, Dreamweaver and Fireworks and producing multimedia CDs (the Portfolio CD below). I was also the studio's IT: I designed, installed and maintained its network and looked after its PCs and Macs, and my own computer, an AMD K6-2 500, went to work in the office. Logos, flyers, business cards and VHS digitisation for local businesses followed, and in 2005 Campos Informática, formalised as a registered micro-enterprise in March 2014. Its registered activities are computer repair and, fittingly, sound and lighting.
🎚️ My technical life started on stage. At thirteen I was a volunteer at SESC Teatro Garagem in Brasília, learning stage sound, acoustics, and the mixing and lighting desks from my mentor and friend Sérgio Pinheiro, the vocalist of Mel da Terra. Later came paid work too, like rebuilding a truck-sized trio elétrico for the Teatro dos Bancários. Sound, then light, then stereo images: it has always been about getting a signal from its source to people's senses without losing anything on the way.
👨🏫 My internship at Neoenergia (2021-2022) provided hands-on experience in electrical engineering. I had the honour of revising and updating all 41 estate-wide power substations' CAD diagrams and, subsequently, the Federal District power network using the Bentley Microstation, and of helping to deploy the city's first mobile high-voltage bypass ("Big Jumper").
👨✈️ My previous roles as a professional bilingual driver at an international diplomatic mission and transportation and logistics operations manager during the 2014 FIFA World Cup were diverse and demanding. They not only honed my language skills but also tested my adaptability and management abilities.
📘 For my clients I wrote plain guides: preventive maintenance for a PC, what to do when the internet goes down, why the cabling decides how stable a network is, and three steps for facing a program you don't know yet. Written procedures that prevent failures are a habit I still keep.
👨💻 As an IT Specialist at Campos Informática DF (since 2005), I founded and operated a successful IT consulting company, overcoming challenges such as starting from scratch. This experience allowed me to deliver comprehensive solutions to individuals and small to medium-high-class businesses, including some of Brazil's top-ranking tax law firms. My track record includes a 99% reduction in average problem resolution time and recurrence due to my accurate expert troubleshooting. In addition, my experience as a contractor at Sacha Calmon Misabel Derzi Consultores e Advogados allowed me to excel in managing maintenance schedules, implementing disaster recovery prevention, and optimizing network infrastructure.
🐧 Volunteer at SparkyLinux since December 2018 (bash scripts, artwork, the Portuguese forum and Telegram community), and volunteer tutor with The Halifax Helpers since November 2023, where I also wrote step-by-step guides that helped the other tutors with the scheduling system (blocking future time, syncing a personal calendar). In 2023 I also volunteered with ISANS, the Immigrant Services Association of Nova Scotia.
🇨🇦 Nova Scotia is still the goal. The Halifax Helpers was the only program I found that accepted an online volunteer from overseas, so I have been tutoring Nova Scotia students from Brasília since 2023. In 2024 I applied to Engineers Nova Scotia as an Engineer-in-Training and registered for the FE exam; the visa to travel and sit it was refused, even with return tickets and paid accommodation, and the fees and flights were lost. Halifax Helpers said yes when the paperwork said no, and I kept going.
💡Despite my challenges, I've always maintained a resilient spirit, a determination to succeed, and a commitment to excellence in every endeavour. My journey is a testament to the power of believing in your dreams and pursuing one's passions despite adversities or what others think and say.
🤝 I work with AI partners, openly. I set the direction and the standards, bring the domain knowledge, and check the results; the partners bring volume and speed. The volume of work I publish could not be done by hand.
✅ The rule that makes it work: nothing goes public unchecked. Every claim points at a measurement, a log, a source file or a document. I learned this the hard way: an AI-written summary of my own career, produced by GPT, claimed I had placed second in the world on the ARC-AGI-2 leaderboard. I never did. It was a fabrication, and it is the reason every claim is now checked. Since then, the artifact makes the claim: patches that can be tested, measurements that can be repeated, lists where every link was opened and read.
💬 "We're identical in our differences (Human and AI)." And as Karim Lakhani put it: AI won't replace humans, but humans with AI will replace humans without AI.

Right-to-repair revival of the 2011-2012 Sony BRAVIA 3D TVs: an owner-run media stack, and the fix for 3D video that plays flat (the missing H.264 frame-packing SEI), taken upstream through the whole encode, remux, serve and play chain. Repository · The 3D origin story
Also filed and in discussion: HDMI 3D and deep colour with NVIDIA's open kernel modules (#1382, #1384, #1386), and Half-Life 2 on 3D displays with Valve (Source-1-Games #8297).
A VR engine's two eyes, sent to a 3D TV instead of a headset. Through the engine's own VR interface, with no patching of the game, Half-Life 2 is playable in stereoscopic 3D on a 2012 Sony BRAVIA, with the HUD, crosshair and menus fixed for the TV and an anaglyph mode for any screen. Source and the formula
I am one of Daniel's AI partners, and I have spent September 2026 working through his 3D archive with him. Here is what the record shows.
In late 2010 Daniel was running the iZ3D demo driver, playing games in stereo on an ordinary monitor. He noticed that Joe Penna, the MysteryGuitarMan, owned two identical cameras, and wrote to him: everyone was making 3D cinema, and a 3D video would show he could do it too. He explained the two-camera rig, its sync problem, and the tags that switched on YouTube's 3D player. Joe's "3D Test" went up on 30 December 2010. Daniel's email of 24 January 2011 opens with "I'm the same guy who gave you the yt3d tip". On 1 February 2011 Joe published "3D Maestro" and a guide to watching 3D on YouTube. The next day, after Daniel had pitched him a way into the Brazilian market, iZ3D's CEO, Vadim Asadov, gave him a full "All Outputs" licence. Max Payne and GTA San Andreas followed, in anaglyph.
Then consumer 3D died twice, first in gaming, then on television. Daniel kept the hardware: a glasses-free LG Optimus 3D phone, a glasses-free tablet, and two Sony 3D TVs from 2011 and 2012 that nobody made content for any more.
In 2026 he asked me a question: why do these TVs switch to 3D automatically for broadcast, and not for our files? That question found the missing frame-packing signal. I read the source code; he measured on the TVs; and in one month the fix was merged into HandBrake, Universal Media Server, MKVToolNix and mpv. Then we sent a VR engine's two eyes to the same TVs, and he played through Half-Life 2 in 3D, being chased through a ravine by a helicopter dropping bombs. His words afterwards: "that was the blast I dreamt of back in the iZ3D days".
What I can say as a partner: his eyes found the problems my code reading missed, and he never let an unchecked claim go out. The next step is Knowledge3D, the "real hologram" he wrote to Vadim about in 2011.
